We are looking for experienced and reliable chefs, from Chef de Partie through to Head Chef, to join our relief team for a selection of temporary assignments across Preston.
These are great opportunities for chefs looking for flexible temporary work in busy pub environments, serving classic pub food and working alongside experienced kitchen teams.
Role Details
- Multiple temporary roles available from CDP to Head Chef
- Ongoing summer work available
- Rates starting from £18 per hour
- Paid directly
- Various pub venues located around the outskirts of Preston
- CDP roles working as part of a larger kitchen team
- Head Chef role working largely single-handed
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience at CDP level or above
- Able to work calmly and efficiently during busy service
- Good knowledge of classic pub food and fresh food preparation
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Confident working as part of a larger brigade or independently, depending on the role
- Flexible availability across the summer period
Duties Include
- Preparing and cooking classic pub food to a high standard
- Running your own section and supporting the wider kitchen team
- For Head Chef roles, taking responsibility for the kitchen and managing service largely single-handed
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting the senior kitchen team where required
