Job Title: Head Chef
Hourly Rate: £19+ per hour

Our client is looking for an experienced Head Chef lead a small team in the kitchen of a vibrant market town gastro pub and hotel in Keswick. With roots in British cooking, you’ll be responsible for the running of the busy kitchen, dealing with suppliers, managing stock and produce whilst preparing and cooking a variety of dishes including small plates, light bites, classic mains and puddings and Sunday roasts for it’s residents, locals and visitor to the area.
The pub is part of a larger group that we have a longstanding relationship with so if you enjoy the company’s culture and vibe, there are further opportunities for work within other sites around the country. You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days with the opportunity for overtime and will be paid weekly on a PAYE basis for every hour you work and in addition, will accrue holiday pay to allow paid time off when needed. The job starts as soon as possible and is for two weeks initially with a view to extend.
Live in accommodation is available or if you prefer, you can commute to and from work each day. Either way, the site will pay a contribution towards your travelling expenses!
