We’re looking for an ambitious Chef de Partie to join our client’s busy hotel kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented CDP who wants to develop their skills in both restaurant service and banqueting while working in a supportive, professional environment.
About the Role…
As Chef de Partie, you’ll run your own section with confidence, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the Sous Chef and Kitchen Manager, gaining valuable experience in high-volume service and large-scale banqueting. This is a role with real variety and plenty of scope to progress.
Key Responsibilities…
- Take responsibility for your section during service
- Deliver consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Assist with banqueting and conference service (100–180 covers)
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, completing all necessary documentation
- Train and support junior commis chefs when required
- Work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
About you…
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality, busy kitchen (hotel experience an advantage)
- Strong cooking skills and a passion for high-quality food
- Banqueting or large-scale service experience (desirable but not essential)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (essential), with willingness to achieve Level 3 if not already held
- Organised, reliable, and able to work well in a team
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
