Job Title: Sous Chef

Hourly Rate: £18+ per hour

Job location: Rye, East Sussex

Job type: Temporary

 

We are looking for a Sous Chef to step into the kitchen of a 17th century, 2AA rosette inn in the heart of Rye. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and supervising the small kitchen staff. You will be joining a site that focusses on locally sourced produce to create a mix of traditional British classics along side more innovative dishes for it’s guests.

 

You will need to have experience in catering for functions and events as well as working to a minimum of 2AA Rosette. You will be working a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days with potential overtime and will be paid for every hour you work directly through the client. You will also be paid a contribution towards your travelling expenses on completion of contract.
