Experienced Single-Handed Chef – £20 per hour (Direct Pay)
We’re looking for an experienced single-handed chef to take the lead in a welcoming country inn located in a small village in Wensleydale. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable, organised individual who enjoys running their own kitchen and producing high-quality, freshly prepared pub-style dishes.
The Role:

Running the kitchen independently — from prep to service and cleaning down

Creating tasty, well-presented meals using fresh ingredients

Managing stock, ordering supplies, and maintaining food safety standards

Working closely with front-of-house to deliver a great experience for locals and visitors alike
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a pub or small hotel setting

Confident working solo in a busy kitchen environment

Reliable, adaptable, and proud of your craft

Accommodation is available but Chefs would be expected to vacate on their two days off together
