This is a relief Chef role for an experienced Chef De Partie join the kitchen of a beautiful country house hotel nestled in the heart of the Lake District. Surrounded by stunning scenery, the 23 bedroom site boasts a two rosette, award-winning restaurant as well as a cosy on-site bar for walkers and ramblers looking for smaller plates and hearty pub grub after a day of exploring the hills. Joining the current brigade, you’ll be working with fresh ingredients and local suppliers to provide contemporary yet rustic dishes to its guests. The hotel also caters for smaller weddings, events and functions and offers the option of holding solely an evening reception in one of its function rooms.
The role starts in April and is an on-going contract so for the right Chef, it could guarantee work until the summer is out. You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days with the opportunity for overtime and will be paid for every hour you work. The hotel will pay you directly each week and will also cover a contribution towards your travelling expenses. Accommodation can be provided on site.
