Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring a high standard of service, smooth operations, and a motivated team. You’ll bring energy, leadership, and an eye for detail — all while keeping customer experience at the heart of everything you do.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for the delegation of tasks and duties, maintaining high standards of health & safety, and delivering exceptional customer service standards
- Overseeing daily operations, managing and motivating staff, maintaining inventory and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate a passion for great coffee, quality food and people-focused customer service and community engagement
- Ensuring the consistent delivery of brand standards across all food and drink offerings. We pride ourselves on our specialty coffee so Barista experience is essential
- Exemplifying strong leadership and management skills, coupled with the commitment to upholding the highest standards in service, presentation, and team performance
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including effective stock control/ordering and the maintenance of high standards and food hygiene
- Being hands-on and adaptable - not afraid to get involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operation when required to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences through warm, friendly and attentive hospitality, efficient till operation, and prompt table service. Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and care
- Provide flexible support across other areas of the business, such as providing job shadowing to newly onboarded team members, or supporting events and new café mobilisations
- Assisting with catering and special functions when required - contributing to setup, service, and breakdown
About You

- Highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly ever changing priorities and headlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload and possess a positive attitude
- A confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
- Ability to motivate, develop and train team members with a positive approach towards professional development
- Have the ability to ensure brand standards and processes are adhered to by all team members
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café or catering management
- Health & Safety and Food Hygiene qualifications
