We are currently seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join the kitchen of a charming country house hotel located in the heart of the picturesque Lake District. This relief Chef role offers a wonderful opportunity to work in a stunning setting in a hotel and two-rosette, award-winning restaurant. Additionally, there is a cosy on-site bar that caters to walkers and ramblers seeking smaller plates and hearty pub food after a day of exploring the nearby hills.
As part of the existing brigade, you will have the chance to work with fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Your role will involve creating contemporary yet rustic dishes to delight the hotel's guests. The hotel also hosts smaller weddings, events, and functions, and offers the option of holding exclusive evening receptions in its function rooms.
You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days with the opportunity for overtime and will be paid for every hour you work. The hotel will pay you directly each week and will also cover a contribution towards your travelling expenses. Accommodation can be provided on site.
