We are seeking a skilled Chef to join a talented kitchen team at a leading private school in the Lancashire area. The school prides itself on providing healthy school meals using fresh, high-quality ingredients for their 400+ students, meeting their nutritional needs and making food a positive experience.
You will have the opportunity to work across a number of kitchens on site within a team of 15 other experienced Chefs. The role would suit somebody who has previous experience working in a similar education environment and who is passionate about catering in schools. You will need your own transport to get to and from work each day as no accommodation is provided however there will be a contribution to your daily travelling expenses. You will be working a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days, including some weekends on a rota basis and will be paid on a weekly via payroll. The role starts as soon as possible and is extended on a term by term basis, with the school currently needing cover until Easter 2024.
