We are currently seeking a skilled Catering Manager to join a small kitchen team at a popular and thriving school in Blackburn, Lancashire. The kitchen prides itself on creating school meals that are tasty, healthy and meet children’s nutritional needs and are passionate about utilising school meals as an opportunity for children to improve their eating habits and to learn about the social side of eating with their friends. All dishes are cooked from scratch on site meaning that this role could suit an experienced Chef who has perhaps worked in hospitality but would prefer working more sociable hours.
You'll be working from 7:30am to 14:30pm, Monday to Friday, experience of working in a school environment overseeing the kitchen staff and the day-to-day running of the kitchen is essential. You will need your own transport to get to and from site each day with a contribution to your travel. You will also need a valid DBS Check to apply for this role.
