Job Title: Sous Chef, Winchester

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support and help kickstart a newly refurbished site which is part of a small pub group, located in the heart of Winchester. The pub has undergone extensive refurbishment with the owners and Chef team thinking outside the box to create an innovative yet manageable menu which can be executed in their relatively small kitchen. The group prides itself on using the freshest, locally sourced produce from artisan suppliers in the area.
This role starts on 22nd March and is for a month initially whilst the owners recruit. There is a possibility that this position will be extended. You will be working a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days with the opportunity for overtime and will be paid for every hour you work. Live in accommodation is available on the site and the pub is easily accessible, even if you don’t have your own transport!
The owners expect the business to really take off on the run up to Easter and beyond so experience working with volume and an individual who enjoys being busy is a must!
