TEMPORARY CHEF DE PARTIE - BURNLEY, LANCASHIRE - £13 TO £16 PER HOUR
A busy bar and brasserie on the outskirts of Burnley are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to play an important role in supporting their brigade throughout the busy festive period.
The restaurant prides itself on using the freshest locally sourced produce and the finest cuts of meat to create the perfect mix of traditional classics, Chef's specials and eclectic modern British dishes fused with influences from around the world. The site also caters for weddings and functions and offers 5* accommodation for its guests.
This role would suit a Chef who is looking to work for the remainder of the year in a busy, high volume environment where you will have the opportunity to run your own section.
Your new contract will involve;
- Working a minimum of 50 hours, over 5 days with the opportunity for overtime
- Working within an existing brigade, running your own section within the kitchen
- The opportunity to support the team whilst catering for functions, weddings and events
- Working in the brasserie, serving restaurant guests in addition to cooking for several Christmas party nights throughout December
About you:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience at CDP level in a similar environment
- You will have experience working with fresh produce
- You will have ideally previously worked on a C&B basis and have experience catering for functions
