Job Title: Head Chef

We are looking for a relief Head Chef to fill a gap in the kitchen of a hotel based in Yorkshire surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning panoramic views of the Yorkshire Dales. The hotel offers a rustic menu filled with your usual classic dishes alongside daily specials and Sunday Roasts using locally sourced ingredients . You’ll be responsible for running the kitchen and preparing ingredients as this is primarily a single-handed role, however there is additional support from a cook and pot wash. Everyone on site chips in and becomes a jack-of-all-trades when needed and you will need to be adaptable in the kitchen to match and is someone who is happy to get stuck in in all aspects of the kitchen.
You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days with potential for overtime and will be paid for every hour you work. This role is an on-going position, starting as soon as possible. The hotel caters predominately restaurant goers and staying guests. Accommodation is available, but you must your own transport to get to site or be within a commutable distance to get to and from site each day. You will also be paid directly by site.
