Sous Chef – Summer Contract (March–October 2025)
Location: Porth Tocyn, Abersoch
Pay: £19 per hour
Contract: Seasonal (Until end of October 2025)
Start Date: Immediate or by arrangement

 

We’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at our client, a renowned coastal country hotel overlooking Cardigan Bay in beautiful Abersoch. This is a seasonal contract running until the end of October 2025, with a strong opportunity for the right candidate to return on a permanent seasonal basis from March to October each year.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, locally-inspired dishes

  • Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Sous Chef role or similar

  • A passion for seasonal, local produce

  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced kitchen

  • A collaborative and positive attitude
