We are a specialist hospitality staffing agency seeking experienced Relief Chefs to work in a variety of care homes, schools and other education settings across Lancashire. These roles offer the chance to make a real difference by supporting kitchens that deliver nutritious, well-balanced meals to vulnerable people and young learners.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and cooking meals in line with dietary requirements and kitchen guidelines
- Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained
- Working either independently or as part of a small kitchen team
- Following structured menus and portion control guidelines
- Supporting with kitchen cleanliness and organisation
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a chef in a professional kitchen
- Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to obtain one)
- Knowledge of allergens, dietary needs and safe food practices
- Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (in-date)
- Reliable, punctual and confident working in care or school environments
- The role may suit a Chef who is looking to earn extra money on their days off
